How does it work?

01

Once you've purchased the toolkit, you'll receive the digital download link to your email.

02

The toolkit provides a template to make sure all the major points of the ceremony are included and flow well from one to the other.

There are different versions for each section so you can choose whether to go more light-hearted, more traditional or mix and match.

03

There are hints and tips throughout to help you personalise your ceremony script perfectly.

There are also tips for the person who will be performing the ceremony to make sure they feel confident and prepared to be such a big part of your day.

04

Once you've worked through the toolkit, you'll have a completely personal script, striking the balance that most suits you as a couple.

Client testimonials

We eloped to Italy and really struggled to find an English-speaking celebrant who felt like the right fit. Discovering the toolkit was such a relief. It gave us the freedom to have a close friend lead the ceremony instead, and it felt so much more meaningful. Standing on a hillside in Tuscany, hearing our own words spoken by someone we love was honestly perfect.

We loved the idea of having a celebrant, but our budget was already stretched to the max. This template was honestly a lifesaver. It gave us all the warmth and personality we wanted, without the big price tag. Our best friend led it beautifully and it's so special to have her in those photos. People even thought we’d hired someone to write it for us!

Our best pal is a drag queen so they had the performance side of the ceremony down but we definitely needed help writing the words and making sure we didn’t miss something important. The toolkit was exactly what we needed, super simple to follow and full of actually useful tips.

FAQs

Home (4).png
Is the ceremony legally binding?

In the UK, a ceremony written with the toolkit is not legally binding on its own. You’ll still need to complete the legal bit at a registry office, just as you would if you hired a celebrant. The simplest option is a 2x2 ceremony (just the couple and two witnesses), which usually costs around £50. In the US, things work differently — your friend can become an officiant (often online and very easy to do) and then they’ll be able to legally marry you.

Home (4).png
What exactly do I get with the toolkit?

You’ll get access to a guided process that walks you step by step through creating your wedding ceremony script. It includes prompts, options to customise, and ready-to-use wording. By the end, you’ll have a complete script that’s personal, meaningful, and ready for your chosen celebrant or friend to deliver on the big day. The full bundle also includes guides on all the other things you might need to write for your wedding such as vows & speeches etc.

Do we need any writing experience?

Not at all! The toolkit does the heavy lifting for you. You’ll simply answer questions, tick boxes, and choose from suggested wording. It’s designed to make the process fun and stress-free, even if you’ve never written anything like this before.

Home (4).png
Can we still include traditional elements like vows or ring exchanges?

Yes! The toolkit includes wording and ideas for all the common ceremony elements (like vows, rings, readings, or symbolic rituals). You can include as much or as little tradition as you like — the ceremony is completely yours to shape.

Home (4).png
Can we include religious or spiritual elements, like prayers or unity ceremonies?

Absolutely. The toolkit gives you wording for popular unity ceremonies (like sand, candle, or wine rituals), and you can adapt these to suit your beliefs. If you’d like to add prayers, blessings, or spiritual readings, you can slot them in wherever feels right. The beauty of writing your own script is that you can blend the traditions that mean something to you, whether that’s religious, spiritual, or completely non-religious.
